How is the score calculated?

Four parts add up to 100: Mystery shop (40 points, how the company answered our quote request by email), Reviews (35, complaints about the work and the last two years in the Google and Yelp reviews we read), License (15, from CSLB records) and Offer (10, what it publishes about warranty, crew and showroom). Years in business and the number of reviews earn no points. A company where one review in five complains about the work, or rated under 4.0, scores 45 at most.
