Top 5 carpet flooring companies

Companies that sent us a carpet price come first, then the ones we have not got a price from yet. Both are ordered by our carpet score: the price, reviews about this kind of work, what the company offers and trust. Companies that only list it on their site are below the ranking, without places. Each row shows the same facts in the same order, including the gaps.

How to read the cards: Carpet score = Price /35 (our quote request for carpet) + Reviews /30 (reviews about carpet work) + Offer /20 + Trust /15. The number is the place on this page; the full profile has the overall score.

From here on: companies we have not got a carpet price from yet. They follow in the same order, by reviews about carpet work, offer and trust.

How is the score calculated?

Four parts add up to 100: Mystery shop (40 points, how the company answered our quote request by email), Reviews (35, complaints about the work and the last two years in the Google and Yelp reviews we read), License (15, from CSLB records) and Offer (10, what it publishes about warranty, crew and showroom). Years in business and the number of reviews earn no points. A company where one review in five complains about the work, or rated under 4.0, scores 45 at most.
